a few years ago a friend of mine moved out to vegas with her sister and cousin. after a year she had to move back to the oc because she had no one to live with.... my last trip out to vegas while she was there we had briefly discussed living together. it was one of those, "we should move out here together" moments that was kind just a ha ha joke.
in the past year melinda (my friend/ramiros cousin) and i have spoke about moving out more frequent. about 3 weeks ago as we cut each others hair and girl talked we flirted with the idea of moving out again. just discussing if we could, should, can... blah blah. kinda got me stoked.
then this last sunday at mel's sisters bachelorette party we talked about it again and we're becoming more and more serious. i told her that i would want to do it around summer because i want to pay off my last credit card. yesterday she text me asking if i was really serious because she was going to start looking into rentals. im totally down with this plan. i had some down time at work today and i went on craigs list... ive found quite a few posts on 2 bedroom home rentals. all under 1000... i know we'd have to talk to the landlord as well as actually see the home and review the contract but under 1000... to rent a home... split between 2 people... factoring in utilities... i could TOTALLY afford it.... even while paying my last cc off. so is it possible that this dream could become a reality sooner than planned... in this time of economic strife, people are having a hard time paying their mortgage... people are leasing out their homes for extra cash... why not capitalize on that?! its a renters dream right now... if you have the cash lol.
im really serious and really excited about this.

i know im pretty stoked on the idea... i sent her the info so shes going to contact the owners and if the price is right (seeing as craigs list posters like to LIE about cost) then we may do it. eeek!
