i took my entrance exam for the school i will be attending (hopefully). i was verryyy nervous because the last school i attended was paul mitchell and we didnt have real exams there haha. so it had been about 5 years since the last test i took. i missed 5 out of the 60... not bad at all. weds, april fools day, is when i take the NET (nursing entrance test). im WAY scared of that one. the admissions officer told me that the way i scored on my entrance test shows i should do fine on the NET.... and she reassured me that if i were to fail it, its ok... i cant take it again. ugh. i HATE tests.

i cant believe this is actually happening. im finally being responsible and taking steps toward an adult career. i feel GREAT about this. absolutely phenomenal.

ram goes to san jose/san fran for a few days next week.
im going to want to have a chill sesh with the ladies in that time hahaha.

i went to sleep at 1015 pm. thats a record for earliest turn in to date. i didnt even do much yesterday.... well i went to meet with the admissions director and got a bunch of info on the nursing dept and entrance test... as well as the NET which i will be taking on monday. i guess the stress just drained me. mike and jase tried to video chat with me... that would have been an interesting convo if i had been awake for it.

im really bummed that i havent been riding with everyone. instead i chose the responsible route and ran on my elliptical... its responsible because i was in bed relatively early seeing as i have work early in the morn. but yea, im still bummed. i LOVE riding with everyone... it just gets difficult to be social and responsible.

for some reason i have a wraspy voice... i woke up with it. although im not sick. today anthony gets commissioned into the marine corps. SO stoked for him... i'll be missing the ceremony but ill be there to party... BEER PONG ANY ONE?!

the nerves are getting to me.

im meeting with the admissions dept tomorrow after work-- if you didnt know and havent been reading my blog, ive been attempting to get into nursing programs. i work full time and i DONT know how to NOT work... im 99% sure i'm keeping my job. since im choosing to work and go to school... i cant go to a JC/UC/CSU... because those are essentially full time. im meeting with the ACC admissions tomorrow. i know of a few people who went there for lvn and ma courses. not too bad. its not prestigious or anything, but its not the name im looking for... its the education.

my parents offered to "help" me live if i want to quit my job...
but like i said, i dont know how to not work. i like having my own income and not depending on some one else's money.

im nervous.

i cant say it enough.

today ive been straight up bitter. from the moment i received a text @ 2 am up until this very second. i woke up at 7am because the office manager txt me letting me know my assistant wasnt coming in today. i was pretty pissed. im not a hard ass or anything when it comes to calling in sick, im the last to be... but mondays are typically busy days and i happen to know she had a hotel party this past weekend... so she wasnt calling in because she was sick, but more or less from a hang over and being tired. normally i wouldnt care, but seeing as this weekend i got SHITFACED and was feeling , sick, sore and tired... and am currently feeling the same... yet im still here. my boss txt her asking if she had a bad hang over or something, her response was "no- i have a black eye, scratches and a cold" wtf... who says that? irresponsible for sure. then as i attempt to work i have one of the tech's breathing down my back... invading my personal space trying to scavenge for cases im assuming because he has nothing better to do. i HATE when people invade my personal space and i feel like theyre just watching over. it pushes my buttons.

i attempted to call the admissions director for the nursing program i was inquiring about. we've been playing phone tag all day. i really need to speak to her because i have to start planning my work schedule, around school... or figure out if i can even manage to work and go to school at the same time. im feeling really stressed.

to top that off, if you didnt know i work in a dental lab, which is predominantly Korean. if you didnt know x's 2... korea is playing japan in the world baseball classic.... so 6 people including my boss took off early to watch the game in person.

so here i am... annoyed that im at work... while virtually everyone in the office is out. fml right now, seriously.

i want a life where im happy with every aspect with in. im attempting to make 2009 my year. becoming more adult and being more responsible is in the agenda. living a healthier lifestyle and being more positive. still in search for the appropriate nursing program. im running a whole lot and yes, riding my bike. i think before i speak and im keeping positive vibes. trying not to fight with my boyfriend, just loving him :)

i would like to build my life up brick by brick, cement slab by sement slab. having a strong foundation to build upon. i want my life to be like a skyscraper-- built by me as well as my friends and family. each floor containing memories and fond imprints of those around me.

i havent felt this way in a while.....

this past weekend was SO much fun. i havent had this great of a time in a while.

friday night was kinda sketch. we had planned on going to LA for the Midnight Ridazzz NERD ride. got there late... no shock right? after some frustrating stuff and being posted for a while we FINALLY made it to the big group @ the coliseum. disappointingly our group decided to ride back to our cars... we made a little detour at the nokia center and riding back we came across the big group again so we said FUCK IT and turned around and joined them. SO FUN. after the ride-- instead of our usual innout stop we went to moca. BAD IDEA. some car tried to egg us TWICE.... missed both times.... THEN 30mins later the fuckers were SO BORED that they waited in the drive thru and then tossed cups of water at us... nancy was a casualty... that was the first time our friends saw ramiro mad..... its not a pretty sight lol. told the cop and he kept his eye out. i ordered super fries, no beans, no guac's (im allergic to avocados).... and i barely ate like 1/4 of it... if that.

saturday was SOOOOO much better. got up at 1130.. finally got to the bank and then went to the l&o warehouse.... was drunk by 3 and stayed drunk til like 9pm.... seriously SOOOOOOOO fun. we did have a bad moment having to do with a bike, a pitbull and a fall... but we'll leave it at that. if saturday was a testiment to what the tourny will be like-- I CANT WAIT.

sunday was just sleep...... LOTS of sleep.

last night.

so last night was.... for the lack of a better word, interesting. had an old friend from the make up world come out to bojangles with some friends. silly manolo put my name on the guest list instead of the name i told him to. so i received a semi frantic call from my friend saying her friend isnt on the list but i am. luckily drea and i had just gotten off the freeway. as fucked up as it sounds... i asked her if i should rush out and we decided FUCK IT...instead we parked-- downed our alchy.... only to be stopped at the door because apparently i dont look like the picture on my ID... the airliner is the only place that has ever questioned me... got in and i guess everything was copacetic because they were in. it was early............ REALLY early when we got there. thankfully erica was there with her friend. it was so empty til like 1130... then it got interesting. spent the night drinking and dancing.... and attempting to push erica into guys so they could dance lol. i told her i'd be single for a night and be her wing man but she was being lame hahahaha. got a print of a picture i didnt really want no offence to noel... it was because i look like a fat cow and id rather not remember myself looking so girthy :-/. i told noel that i didnt want it and i was gunna give him money any way because i knew people would be cheap.... but he insisted... i hope the picture with mama ice came out better hahaha. saw my boo jason which is always a treat. we ended up leaving pretty early, about 1230. went to dennys in baldwin park. our waiter was fucking sketchy. had some very inappropriate conversations hahaha. lets just say a lot of talk about sex, penis size, and exs hahahahahahahaha. so if you dated or hooked up with any of us, ever... just know we talked about your dick size :)

it was honestly a fun time.

i cant seem to get focused today. ive got cases upon cases coming to my desk.

ive signed off on a few things and im worried that theyve gotten lost within the haze of my brain. ive found myself doing everything except my work. i really cant bring myself to do anything productive. i feel so unmotivated. this is ridiculous.

not only do i feel unmotivated, im extremely irritable.

i seriously want to snap at everyone who asks me stupid questions.

its official. ive lost all patience today.

so im at work, pretending to do an excel spread sheet thats due on friday....
ive always been a procrastinator. i just sent one of the guys in the shipping department to buy me AZ b&w tea because im parched! some girl is trying to make me do her work. fuck that! i dont even want to do my own!

did more research on nursing programs in the oc area as well as la (but la closer to me) and im still unsure about what the best route is. the north oc rop program is actually very good, but it may take me a lot longer than i would like to finish. attending a vocational school would be more expensive, but they are accelerated courses so id be done faster and then there are the jc and cs systems, which are ideal but have the longest waiting lists. can any one recommend anything?


went on another ride last night from brea mall to downtown fullerton and back. on the way there we got pulled over by a cop because we were in the #1 lane, dumb shit seeing as we needed to merge over... took our usual stop at in n out. i debated on if i should eat since i was starving and it had been about 11 hours since my last meal. i had animal style fries well done.... a bum came and was freaking us out so i ate fast which was a BAD idea... 10 mins into out ride back i felt my fries pushing their way back up.... i ended up pulling off to the side and barfing all over a tree, SO ATTRACTIVE. after that i was kind of weak but bolted off bc we needed to catch up with the others. after a weak struggle with an incline going onto birch (total bitch of an incline) i booked it down birch, which was mostly down hill. i finally made it back to brea mall. i felt nauseous from having thrown up. im pretty bummed because that was such an EASYYYY ride. i wasnt hurting or sore... just had a fucked up tummy. just a lesson learned no food during my rides. lmao.


im SO sleepy but i want to ride after work. maybe i'll nap then ride. we'll see.

im really excited and i know its going to be hard work, balancing school and my job... but it will be well worth it in the end.

and an update about the past few days....

weds night i did my first ride... we rode from chucks house in tustin to the spectrum to the district then back to chucks. we thought it was only a 15 mile ride, turns out it was actually 22 miles. im really proud of myself. i'll admit i did fall behind about 3 times through the ride... but taking into consideration this was my first ride and my seat was KILLING my ass and vag'... i pushed through. and i dont think it helped that we stopped a lot for more than 10 mins... matt got a pinch flat and scotts chain snapped... luckily we had darrell the bike master there haha.... i wasnt as sore as i expected to be the next day...

thursday sucked, i had statement day at work... so it was a LONG day. ram and i had drinks and dinner at bjs with drea and david... and i cut oscars hair.

friday was yvette and alex's wedding. got all dolled up... ceremony was funny... so mexican lmao... ram and i were lost the whole time. the reception was dope! open bar for the first hour, so you best believe we took full advantage. every time we went to the bar we walked always with at least 2 drinks... times that by like 10 trips... we were having a GOOOOOD night haha.

saturday we went over to rams aunts house (the mother of the bride) for the gift opening and food. its fun being a part of their family, theyre all so close. i guess thats kind of typical of hispanic families... but i love it.

sunday did disneyland for my dad and brothers bday..... it was a long day. so tired... was over it after the first 4 hours...

now its monday, im feeling a little under the weather... maybe im just exhausted from the last week... possibly riding tonight in chino.
