random jibberish.

that is what my desk at work currently looks like. a cluttered mess, much like my head. all i can think about is going home, running on my elliptical, sleeping and finding a bike. i need to center myself and get my work done. UGH!

hopless romantic.

its true. im a hopeless romantic. the older i get, the more i realize i love-love. im not super sappy in the way that i name "the notebook" as one of my favorite movies.... actually ive never even watched it.... but i cant get enough of romantic comedies. i root for love in every movie i watch and i cry when the hero/heroine looses grip of the love they are so desperate to hold on to. i enjoy holding and being held by my boyfriend, breathing in sync with him, feeling the warm touch of his kiss to my forehead. i love our "i love you's", our hand holds and our simple stares. dinners out, kisses infront of sleeping beauty's castle under the fireworks, walks along the beach and drives in the dark.



i watched "a walk to remember" today. ive read the book several times and i own the dvd. i hadn't seen the movie in quite some time and it was on tv today, so i watched it. i was a wreck. i cried like i didnt know what was going to happen next. most people would say they hate the movie.... but i love it. although its not exactly a depiction of real life... it makes me think of what true love really is. a love that can with stand fear and judgement. and of course, me being me, i thought what would happen if i were in that situation.... zang. to love and marry some one you know you would loose in a matter of months. man, thats real love.

2009

well i havent been as disciplined as i have been in the past concerning my up to date blog's. its been a few weeks since my last post. so i guess this will be my update on the year's end.

christmas was amazing. 4 days off, yummie food, friends and family. on the 23rd the group went to buffalo wild wings in chino. good food and great fun.

christmas eve was spent with ramiro and my family at my house. played a lot of guitar hero world tour and opened gifts. ramiro gave me a BEAUTIFUL oversized betsey johnson bag, a hellokitty jeweled ring, and a cute hk key chain. i also received a $100 gc to Sephora and an AA hoodie.




christmas day i woke up before 8am to get ready for christmas mass. did that and as soon as i got home had brunch with my parents. i went to rams at 1 to open gifts with his family. his parents got me a cake spinner from william sonoma. i was SO stoked on it. we then went to ma and pa's house (his grandparents) where they ate menudo (i didnt eat, not a fan lol). later in the afternoon the rest of the fam finally showed up. it was really awesome cos rams cousin alexis came from vegas... for all of you who dont know, alexis and i went to catechism and 3-12th grade together. he was one of my closest friends for such a long time and its amazing to me that some one i use to hang out with every day as a child could potentially be family (depending on how long mine and rams relationship lasts lol). we had a family gift exchange there. Eric got me and his gift was soooo legit! he got me a plethora of hk stuff! SUHCUTE! we had a ginger bread house contest which was randomly fun. it was an awesome christmas.

that weekend we headed over to yvettes house which was a super funny, really chill experience. we played kings cup (which is WAY hilarious even when youre sober) and some animal sign game where you clap in a beat and make peoples animal symbol. its hard when you havent been drinking, i can only imagin how hard it eas while drunk. i laughed way too hard!



jumping over to new years eve... i worked during the day and then headed to rams for his annual family nye party. this years theme: Ugly Sweaters. damn, there were some ugly sweaters! it was such a FUN night. i didnt get drunk, but i really enjoyed everyone else and their drunken antics! i spent the night at ramiros and finally made it home at about 10am. took a nap and my dad woke me up @1 for the rosebowl game.. HAD to be up to watch my boyfriend mark sanchez play hahahaha. they won which my dad and i were quite stoked on.


the weekend was probably the best last weekend of the year ive ever had. ramiro and i got a lot of "us" time. pretty dope. friday we went to watch Yes Man, super cheesie but really funny (but what else can you expect from jim carey)... saturday we went to brea and to orange for some shopping action... had dinner then headed to his aunt anna's in irvine for family game night... we played rock band, sang karaoke and just had some good ol' fashion family bonding. then sunday... sunday was great! ramiro and i went to disneyland @ about 4 and it was so crowded that they made us park 2 blocks away and shuttled us by bus! we got there and just walked around ca adventure... we didnt go on any rides we just took a look at everything. ramiro never got the chance to take a look at the new plans for ca adventure so i showed him. we headed over to disneyland because we were hungry but we couldnt quite figure out what we wanted. we visited the castle which hadnt been open for 8 years. it was nice, cute little surprises here and there. we finally decided to eat at the pizza port... it was freezing at that point :-/ we road the finding nemo ride for the first time... pretty cute... then we lined up early for Fantasmic... i felt like a little kid again for sure. luckily we had a pretty dope spot to watch Believe which is the christmas fireworks show.... ramiro hugged me thru the whole thing and i felt all warm inside... made me feel like the first time he said "ï love you" infront of the castle at the end of the fireworks.... it was amazing... then to top it off it snowed! well it was just soap suds but still it was pretty!

such an awesome last couple of weeks for sure!
lets hope its just the start to a perfect 2009!
